EMPLOYMENT
KPIS always wants to maintain a strong team of employees who are dedicated to the mission and philosophy of the school. We offer employment opportunities throughout the school year, which operates from late-August until mid-July, for homeroom teachers and teacher assistants as well as administrative staff. We usually recruit for the new school year in early spring of the current school year. However, there may be occasions when openings become available during the school year. Interested candidates should read the information below concerning application guidelines and position requirements. Due to the number of inquiries, we may not be able to answer every candidate.
OPENING FOR TEACHER ASSISTANT
KPIS is searching for an enthusiastic, experienced and caring Teacher Assistant. This position is effective from August this year. Working hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Details regarding compensation and benefits including health insurance, transportation allowance and paid sick leave will be shared with applicants during the interview. Homeroom Teacher Requirements
Candidates must hold a college degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and have at least three years of preschool or kindergarten homeroom teaching experience. Candidates also must have a successful personal interview with the Principal as well as a demonstration lesson with an assigned class.
Teacher Assistant Requirements
Candidates must hold a college degree and have at least three years of preschool or kindergarten teacher assistant experience. Candidates also must have a successful personal interview with the Principal as well as a trial work day with an assigned class.
Afternoon & Evening Program Teacher Requirements
Candidates must hold a college degree in English, Linguistics, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or a related field and have at least three years of preschool, kindergarten or elementary teaching experience. Candidates also must have a successful personal interview and demonstration lesson with an assigned class in both Afternoon Program and Evening Program.
Substitute Teacher Requirements
Candidates who are interested in substitute teaching must hold a college degree and have at least three years of preschool or kindergarten teacher assistant experience. Candidates also must have a successful personal interview with the Principal as well as a trial work day with an assigned class.
