KPIS is always looking for ways to maintain a strong team of employees as the school continues to grow. KPIS may offer employment opportunities throughout the year for homeroom teachers and teacher assistants as well as administrative and maintenance staff.
Homeroom Teacher requirements include the following:
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related
field
- Knowledge of teaching methods and child psychology
- Teaching certificate
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- English Fluency
- Commitment to a one-year contract
- Japanese Residence
- Personal interview with the Principal/Director
Teacher Assistant requirements include the following:
- Bachelors Degree (or higher)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children
- English Fluency
- Commitment to a one-year contract
- Japanese Residence
- Personal interview with the Principal/Director
On-call Substitute Teacher requirements include the following:
- Bachelors Degree (or higher)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children
- English Fluency
- Japanese Residence
- Personal interview with the Principal/Director
- Ready to come to work on short notice
